Citizenship

It's Our Civic Duty

In the last decades, we have become a nation so conscientious about our rankings in math, science, and reading that we have neglected the importance of a civics education.

Students need illustrations of good citizenship and examples of civic duty and leadership. They need instruction in good citizenship practices and opportunities to develop these values.

Mind Missions curriculum encourages strong citizenship. Through lessons about past civic leaders and opportunities to practice good citizenship we empower students with a balanced education. Science, math, and reading are critically important- they help us to realize amazing achievements. Civics informs us of the causes and responsibilities that accompany these feats.
